About Yuki Scholl

Yuki Scholl is a Japanese artist based in London.

Her work is inspired by the transient beauty of nature and the impermanence of everything that exists, whether it is the physical world or our thoughts, feelings and emotions. Through creating work, she seeks to capture the precious yet ephemeral moments in life.

She uses various printing techniques which allow her to explore rich textures, shapes and nuanced colours. Every print she creates is unique as she uses multiple layers of hand mixed colours and torn pieces of paper on each print.

The process of creating unique works in this way enables her to reflect and contemplate moments that can never be repeated.
